Joshua 1:9

I like to jokingly say that 'Glitter is my signature color'.  I truly love how shiny the Journey Sparkle Dust[AC-0013] is.  For this card, I mixed Blue Lagoon Acrylic Paint[JM-0018] with Journey Modeling Paste [JM-0073] and applied with Starburst Lines- Stencil[JM-0007] using a Spatula[TO-0089].  I put the blue Rainbow Drops[AC-0178] in the large blank areas and stamped the sentiment from Through the Storm [SS-0364] with Blue Lagoon True Color Fusion Ink Pad[IP-0002] and cut out with a Journey Ovals[DI-0042]. I used Blue Lagoon 8.5 x 11 Card stock[CS-0004] for the card base.

You're a Star!

This card will be headed half way across the country to TX where my daughter is serving in the Army. I miss being able to wrap my arms around her and feel her, but am proud of the young strong woman she is becoming.

For this card, I used Sweet Berry cardstock as the base with a panel of whip cream cardstock. I squirted a little paint on my pallet and mixed gel medium with it, then spread it on the paper through the falling petals stencil. I then used the same paint to color a couple of the Wood Chips that I got for free because I bought more than $50 worth of merchandise by FSJ. That's a feature called Bloom Benefits that I love!  The Stamp I used was also a Bloom Benefit in 2015-2016.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. All comments are greatly appreciated.

Good Day!

Sweet Berry Acrylic Paint mixes so well with Journey Modeling Paste to create a different look.

I used the Journey Rectangles to frame the phrase.  There wasn't a rectangle the right size, so I simply put the phrase with the rectangles half off the cutting plates, re-positioned using the pierced holes as a guide, and cut the other half.

The blue of the background is actually a Distress Ink which I applied and then wiped off of the colored paste so that the pink pops.

Bee autiful

The background of this card was created by mixing some Pineapple Smoothie Acrylic Paint with Journey Modeling Paste and applying to the Whip Cream 8.5 x 11 Cardstock with Vintage Screen- Stencil using the Spatula.

The stamp set used was Hello Lovely. The bees were colored with Wink of Stella and a Wink of Luna.

Thanks for looking.
