Christmas Wishes

I have a couple of customers who bought this set before it was retired.  I love the set myself, so when they asked me to do Christmas cards with it for one of the make and takes tomorrow night, I agreed.  I'm adding some current items which will justify using it as the make and take.  Fresh Forrest card-stock, Cranberry Bliss card-stock, Whip Cream card-stock, Holiday Sequins, silver sequins, Gel Medium, Stencils, Sparkle Ribbon, and of course the inks.

You're a Star!

This card will be headed half way across the country to TX where my daughter is serving in the Army. I miss being able to wrap my arms around her and feel her, but am proud of the young strong woman she is becoming.

For this card, I used Sweet Berry cardstock as the base with a panel of whip cream cardstock. I squirted a little paint on my pallet and mixed gel medium with it, then spread it on the paper through the falling petals stencil. I then used the same paint to color a couple of the Wood Chips that I got for free because I bought more than $50 worth of merchandise by FSJ. That's a feature called Bloom Benefits that I love!  The Stamp I used was also a Bloom Benefit in 2015-2016.

I started with the sketch from the Mojo Monday Blog. 

I love using stencils and media goop :) Today I used the Journey Gel Medium and Falling Petals- Stencil for the focal panel. I stamped the whale once using a reflection technique, and once regularly.  I used a die from Journey Rectangles to create the piercings surrounding the sentiment, and attached the sequin heart to the focal panel.  The Sparkle Love hearts are another free item choice from Fun Stampers Journey. Love these Bloom Benefits!
