I tilted the mat to give the layout movement and interest. I used the Silhouette to cut out the journaling spot, then inked the edges with Gathered Twigs distressing ink.
The journaling reads: The road south to Edinburgh had beautiful mountains that were totally different from the highlands. The Cairngorm Mountains look rounded and I’m told that they are great for skiing. We didn’t get very close to them, but were still able to appreciate their beauty.
