Distress Ink Reinkers

As much as I love my Distress Ink Pads, I use the reinkers almost as much. I really love the look I can get painting stamped images with a water brush! Remember the issue I expressed a few weeks ago about wanting to label my reinkers so I can see the colors without having to pull every bottle out of the box? Well, I started brainstorming and came up with a solution, and finally made time to execute it.

Step one: I used my Silhouette and created a circle that's 0.5 inches inside a circle of 0.75 inches. I cut 36 of them from water color paper. This is a very sturdy paper, and will stand up to a lot of wear.

Step two: I used a water brush and got just the tiniest bit of ink from each of the bottles to color the circle.

I was sure to demonstrate the different degrees of color from dark to light on each of the circles.

Step three: I pushed the circle over the top of the dropper so it rests on top of the lid. The dimensions make it where it isn't loose and won't come off easily, and it doesn't hang over the edge. Then I just arranged them, and it's now easy for me to pick the perfect color I want.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
